Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain clean buses
- Implement student safety protocols during loading/unloading
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to strict schedules and traffic regulations
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement techniques
- Complete incident reports and maintenance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class B CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Basic first aid/C certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience
