Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on assigned routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Adhere to traffic laws and district policies
- Assist students with special needs (training provided)
- Complete daily trip reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license (minimum 2 years driving experience)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain CDL Class B with P endorsement (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to work with children
- Physical ability to assist students with mobility needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
