Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Enforce bus safety protocols and student conduct policies
- Maintain accurate route schedules and communication with dispatch
- Provide first aid assistance during emergencies
- Complete incident reports and documentation as required
- Assist students with special needs during boarding/exit
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee Driver's License with clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement (training provided)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and operate vehicle controls
- Patience and experience working with children preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
