Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities on a designated route.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior, keeping it free of debris and hazards.
- Monitor student behavior on the bus to ensure safety and punctuality.
- Communicate effectively with school administrators, parents, and dispatchers regarding schedule changes or student needs.
- Follow all traffic laws, school bus regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
- Clean driving record (MVR) and no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Willingness to undergo training programs provided by the company.
