Responsibilities
- Safely transporting students to and from school and school events according to established routes and schedules.
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
- Ensuring the safety of all students while loading, unloading, and on the bus.
- Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment on the bus at all times.
- Communicating effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and school district policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with Passenger endorsement is preferred, but we offer paid training for the right candidates.
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a mandatory background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliability, patience, and a commitment to student safety.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
