Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Complete daily maintenance logs and incident reports
- Ensure wheelchair accessibility compliance when required
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Driver's License (Class B/C preferred)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain CDL with School Bus Endorsement
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Minimum 1 year driving experience
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
