Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school on assigned routes in a timely manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe bus environment for all passengers.
- Assist students with boarding, seating, and exiting the bus in a courteous manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, school policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and school administration regarding schedule changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Clean driving record free of major violations.
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and patience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and afternoons.
