Responsibilities
- Safely transporting students to and from school and school-related activities on time and in a courteous manner.
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe bus environment for all passengers.
- Adhering strictly to all traffic laws, school bus safety regulations, and student conduct policies.
- Communicating effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding schedule changes or student needs.
- Managing "remote-friendly" administrative paperwork and reporting on a weekly basis.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
- Clean driving record (DMV abstract required for review).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Strong commitment to student safety, punctuality, and professional conduct.
- Ability to pass a Department of Justice (DOJ) fingerprinting clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
