Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school on a safe, timely route following established schedules.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers by enforcing seatbelt policies and maintaining discipline.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized bus environment for students.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school administration, and dispatch regarding student pick-ups, delays, or emergencies.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus, including those with special needs when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
- Minimum 2 years of safe driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
