Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses following strict safety protocols and traffic laws
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance
- Supervise student boarding, seating, and disembarking procedures
- Maintain accurate attendance logs and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to established routes and schedules with punctuality
- Provide first aid assistance during emergencies as trained
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement
- Clear driving record and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to work with children
- Basic knowledge of Las Vegas area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for emergency situations
