Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on daily routes and field trips
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain student discipline
- Adhere to precise schedules and traffic regulations
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and dispatch
- Document mileage, incidents, and student attendance
- Emergency response training and first aid certification
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 3 years driving experience (clean MVR required)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Background check clearance
- Child CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Fluent English communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
