Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and ensure safety protocols
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and district policies
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Complete accurate route and maintenance documentation
- Respond professionally to emergency situations
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus endorsement
- Clean MVR with no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Experience working with children/youth strongly preferred
