Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips following assigned routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Implement strict safety protocols for student loading/unloading and emergency procedures
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and transportation supervisors
- Maintain a positive, respectful environment for all student passengers
- Adhere to all federal, state, and district transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger/School Bus endorsements
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clear background check and fingerprint clearance
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings/afternoons)
