Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus safely and efficiently on assigned routes and field trips.
- Ensure the safety of students during loading, unloading, and while on board.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Follow all traffic laws and district safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and physical exam.
- Excellent customer service skills and patience when interacting with children.
- Ability to work early mornings and flexible hours.
