Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on assigned routes following strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Manage student behavior with patience and positive reinforcement
- Adapt routes for field trips, athletic events, and special needs students
- Complete accurate trip logs and incident reports
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with airbrake and passenger endorsements
- Minimum 1 year driving experience or willingness to obtain CDL through our program
- Pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist mobility-impaired students
- Fluent English communication skills
- Patience, reliability, and child-friendly demeanor
