Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logbooks
- Implement strict safety protocols during loading/unloading
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and dispatch
- Manage student behavior per district guidelines
- Adapt routes for weather/traffic conditions
- Complete required training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus Endorsement (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs (student assistance)
- Fluent English proficiency; bilingual a plus
