Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and extracurricular events
- Pre-trip vehicle inspections and daily maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Maintain orderly conduct on the bus and communicate with parents/schools
- Complete accurate daily route logs and incident reports
- Participate in seasonal safety training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Minimum 2 years driving experience (commercial preferred)
- Background check clearance for working with minors
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate bus steps/stairs
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
