Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident reporting via remote systems
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and transportation coordinators
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Manage student behavior and ensure a positive bus environment
- Participate in mandatory remote training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus Endorsement and Passenger Transport Certificate
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Clear background check and driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Basic computer skills for remote administrative tasks
