Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Enforce bus safety protocols and student conduct policies
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident reporting logs
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to strict schedules and traffic regulations
- Provide first aid assistance when required
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- School Bus Endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Child Safety Certification (training provided)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
