Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with parents, students, and staff
- Manage student behavior with patience and positive reinforcement
- Complete daily route logs and incident reports
- Participate in ongoing safety training updates
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and sit for extended periods
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to student safety and well-being
- Flexibility to adjust routes as needed
