Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness/maintenance logs
- Implement strict safety protocols during loading/unloading and emergency procedures
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and transportation dispatch
- Adhere to federal/state regulations and district transportation policies
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident reporting documentation
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Ability to obtain CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement (provided)
- Experience working with children preferred but not required
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate bus controls
- Flexible availability for early morning/afternoon shifts
