Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips following designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Enforce safety protocols and manage student behavior per district policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and professional development
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with P endorsement
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children preferred
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Background clearance through Washington State Patrol
