As a vital member of our transportation team, you will ensure the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a school bus to transport students to and from school and designated activities.
- Ensure the safety and discipline of all students on board during the trip.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is roadworthy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bus interior at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and parents regarding delays or passenger issues.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies strictly.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus safely.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement (or ability to obtain one via our training program).
- Must possess a clean driving record (no DUIs or major moving violations within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
