Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and educational events
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain a positive, orderly environment on the bus
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and school district safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and transportation supervisors
- Complete incident reports and student attendance records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and professional development
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to obtain CDL with passenger endorsement (training provided)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Punctual and reliable with excellent time management
