Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Implement strict student discipline and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations
- Assist students with mobility needs (wheelchair training provided)
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado driver's license (minimum 1 year clean record)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain Class B CDL with P endorsement (training included)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate mobility equipment
- Patient demeanor with students K-12
- Basic computer literacy for digital reporting
- High school diploma or equivalent
