Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Follow strict safety protocols during loading/unloading procedures
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adapt to route changes and emergency weather conditions
- Maintain accurate student attendance records
- Complete daily safety and maintenance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver's License (Class E or higher)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain CDL with School Bus Endorsement (training provided)
- Excellent driving record with no major violations
