Responsibilities
- Safely transport students on designated routes following strict schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain orderly conduct and ensure student safety during transit
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and district policies
- Complete daily trip logs and incident reports as required
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum age 21 with ability to pass background check
- Ability to obtain CDL with school bus endorsement (paid training provided)
- Strong commitment to student safety and responsibility
- Basic physical ability to assist students with mobility needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to remain calm in busy environments
