Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips following precise routes
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a positive environment on the bus
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatchers
- Complete accurate trip logs and incident documentation
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations and school policies
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Driver's License with clean driving record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain CDL with School Bus endorsement (training provided)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and navigate bus steps safely
- Patience and dedication to student safety
