Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school following designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a safe and orderly bus environment for all passengers
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and school district policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Report any maintenance issues or student concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License required
- No prior driving experience necessary – training provided
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with school bus endorsement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and strong commitment to student safety
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
