Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logs
- Enforce safety protocols and manage student behavior
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and route schedules
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and maintain first aid certification
- Operate bus during adverse weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid U.S. driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Ability to obtain Class B CDL with passenger endorsement (training provided)
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical examination
- Strong communication skills and patience with children
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate wheelchair lifts
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 21 years of age
