Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips following designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain daily logs
- Enforce safety protocols and student conduct policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adapt to route changes and weather-related schedule adjustments
- Report mechanical issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Complete all required training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (minimum Class C)
- Ability to obtain CDL with passenger endorsement (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clear background check and driving history review
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Patience and strong communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work early mornings (5:30 AM start)
