Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school and school-sponsored activities in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is mechanically sound.
- Manage student behavior on the bus and enforce safety rules to maintain order.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus safely.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic bus environment for all passengers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, school staff, and parents regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement.
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to work early mornings and occasional afternoons.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
