Job Overview
We are looking for responsible individuals who enjoy working with children and value public safety. As a School Bus Driver, you will be the first and last face a student sees each day, playing a vital role in their education journey.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and school activities on assigned routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical and safety compliance.
- Monitor student behavior and enforce safety rules during transit to maintain a secure environment.
- Maintain the interior of the bus in a clean and orderly condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, parents, and school administrators regarding schedules and delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with Passenger endorsement (Passenger endorsement required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 7 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late afternoons.
