Responsibilities
- Transport students safely along designated routes on time and in accordance with traffic laws.
- Ensure the safety and punctuality of all passengers while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe bus interior at all times.
- Manage student behavior and assist with boarding and exiting the bus.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, school personnel, and parents regarding schedules.
- Adhere to all company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major traffic violations within the last 7 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills, patience, and the ability to interact positively with children.
- Willingness to work early mornings and/or afternoons.
