Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school and school-related activities safely and punctually.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment on the bus at all times.
- Assist students with boarding, seating, and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, school district policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and dispatch regarding routes and delays.
- Monitor student behavior to ensure a secure ride for everyone.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class B license with Passenger (P) endorsement.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or serious moving violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to undergo and successfully complete paid training.
- Ability to work early morning and afternoon hours.
