Responsibilities
- Transport students safely to and from school and school-related activities.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations strictly.
- Manage student behavior on the bus in a professional and firm manner.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding schedules and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Clear driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
