Responsibilities
- Operate school buses safely and efficiently along designated routes and field trips.
- Ensure the safety, behavior, and comfort of all students during transport.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain mechanical safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding delays or incidents.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company policies.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Passenger endorsement.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to student safety, punctuality, and professional conduct.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift baggage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
