Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities on designated routes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment inside the bus at all times.
- Ensure students are seated and properly secured while the vehicle is in motion.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and school district transportation policies.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and parents regarding student safety and schedule changes.
Qualifications
- Clean Class B CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement required.
- Valid Medical Certificate (DOT physical) at the time of hire.
- Must possess a satisfactory driving record and pass a background check.
- Ability to communicate clearly and interact positively with children and school staff.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible work history.
- Physical ability to load/unload passengers and assist with accessibility needs.
