Responsibilities
- Operate school buses safely and efficiently on designated routes and field trips.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Manage student behavior and ensure the safety of passengers during loading and unloading.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, school policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatchers.
Qualifications
- Clean Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
- Valid medical certificate (DOT physical).
- Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and driving record review.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
