Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Manage student behavior with professionalism and care
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to all federal, state, and district transportation regulations
- Assist students with mobility needs as required
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
