Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following traffic laws
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain orderly conduct of students during transit
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of students at stops
- Complete daily trip logs and incident reports
- Adhere to all district safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon Driver's License (Class C or higher)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) permit or ability to obtain
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist mobility-impaired students
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Patience and ability to manage student behavior
- High school diploma or equivalent
