Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain precise delivery schedules using electronic logging systems
- Document all freight movements and vehicle conditions via digital logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding status updates
- Load/unload secure cargo requiring specialized handling procedures
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with dedicated routes
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Flexibility for overnight trips with 1-2 week assignments
- Knowledge of hazmat materials preferred but not required
