Responsibilities
- Operate school buses safely and efficiently on assigned routes and field trips.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students while loading, unloading, and supervising them on the bus.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe bus environment at all times.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school administration, and dispatch.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Passenger endorsement.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and physical.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a vision and hearing test.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and school holidays.
