Responsibilities

  • Transport students safely to and from school and school-related activities in a timely manner.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and safe environment for all passengers.
  • Enforce all school bus safety rules, including seatbelt usage and proper conduct.
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring they remain seated and secure during transit.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
  • Clean driving record (MVR) with no major traffic violations within the last 3-5 years.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal history and fingerprinting.
