Responsibilities
- Operate school buses safely and efficiently on assigned routes and field trips.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during boarding, disembarking, and transit.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to verify mechanical safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bus interior.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school administration, and dispatch regarding schedules and student behavior.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and school bus safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
- A clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Prior experience in transportation or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Patience, strong customer service skills, and a genuine passion for working with children.
