Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from schools and field trips
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and ensure bus safety protocols
- Communicate with parents/guardians and school staff
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and route schedules
- Assist students with boarding/exiting, including mobility needs
- Complete incident reports and maintenance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana CDL with School Bus (S) endorsement
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with disabilities
- Must be 21+ years old
