Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and school activities along designated routes.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe bus environment.
- Enforce school bus safety rules and manage student behavior professionally.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch.
- Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus, particularly those with special needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major moving violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work early morning hours and occasional afternoons.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
