Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain orderly conduct and ensure student safety on bus
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and district transportation policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff
- Report maintenance issues and student incidents promptly
- Assist students with mobility needs as required
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist students with mobility
- Flexible availability (early mornings/afternoons)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
