Responsibilities
- Safely transport students on designated routes following strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Enforce student conduct policies and ensure a positive bus environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adapt routes and schedules to accommodate student needs
- Maintain accurate records and incident reports
- Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings and afternoons)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Experience working with children preferred
