Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities on schedule.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment on the bus.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the vehicle safely.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and district safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administration regarding schedules and issues.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle interior.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Must pass a physical examination to meet DOT standards.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
